シンシア先生の自己紹介、お願いします～

はじめまして！シンシア先生です～
I’m Cynthia, it’s very nice to meet you!

Where are you from?
ご出身はどこですか？

I am from a small town in Canada called Mission. It is about two hours away from Vancouver by car. Mission is small, but it is full of beautiful natural scenery, with mountains, lakes, rivers and forests. There is also a lot of wildlife! When I was young, bears and deer often visited my family’s backyard. Wild animals are beautiful, but a little scary!
私はカナダにあるミッションという小さな町から来ました。ミッションはバンクーバー市から車で2時間ぐらい離れたところにあります。ミッションは小さな町ですが、山、湖、川や森など美しい自然に恵まれています。野生動物もたくさんいますよ！子供のごろ、熊や鹿がよく実家の裏庭を訪れました。野生動物は美しいですが、ちょっと怖いですね！

When did you come to Kagawa?
いつ香川県に来ましたか？

I came to Kagawa three years ago. I fell in love with Kagawa right away! My first impression of Kagawa was “There is so much green!”. Kagawa is Japan’s smallest prefecture, but there is so much to see and do. My favorite places in Kagawa are Yakuriji Temple and Ogijima Island. Of course, I also love udon noodles! My favorite kind of udon is niku bukkake.
3年前に香川県に来ました。すぐに香川のことが大好きになりました！香川の第一印象は「緑が多い！」ということでした。香川は日本一小さい県ですが、楽しい場所、楽しいことがたくさんあります。私の一番好きな場所は八栗寺と男木島です。もちろん、うどんも大好きです！私の一番好きなうどんは肉ぶっかけです。

What are your hobbies?
趣味は何ですか？

I really enjoy cooking! When I first came to Kagawa, I was not very good at cooking, but I have practiced a lot since then. I am interested in Japanese homestyle cooking and I am always searching for the ultimate recipe for classic dishes like chicken and egg on rice, ginger pork and spaghetti napolitan.
料理がとても好きです！初めて香川県に来た頃、料理があまり上手ではなかったですが、その時からいっぱい練習してきました。日本の家庭料理に興味があって、親子丼、生姜焼きやナポリタンのような定番料理の最高のレシピをいつも探しています。

I also enjoy listening to music. I am a big fan of a Japanese band called Back Number. I have even been to a few of their concerts!
音楽を聴くのも好きです。バックナンバーという日本のバンドの大ファンです。いくつかのコンサートにも行ったことがあります！
